How does a reed diffuser work?

Reed diffusers are very easy to use. Unscrew the cap to remove the plastic plug and then screw back decorative metal cap. Start with placing about 4 reeds into the liquid to absorbed some of the oil for a few minutes then flip them to begin the release of the fragrance. The bottles are designed to prevent evaporation and allows the fragrance to fill the room. You should flip your reeds regularly every few days, to keep the scent fresh and fragrant. The natural reeds are porous which helps control the rate the fragrance is released. The more reeds that are used, the more fragrant. Replace the reeds with every new scent used.

Where’s the best place for a reed diffuser?

Reeds are best placed in a high traffic area that will help move the scent around. Avoid placing it near air conditioning units or near a door that leads outside where the fragrance will be lost. Keep away from heat which can cause the fragrance to evaporate faster.

How long do reed diffusers last?

On average, 100ml of diffuser oil should last between three and six months.

Care Tip

Flammable liquid. Do not light reeds. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Place on a flat, stable surface. Oil may cause damage if spilled. To prevent damage of wood furniture, plastic or painted surfaces, we recommend using a coaster or matt under your reed diffuser as oil may drip and cause damage.
